A chilly 11am Sunday morning kickoff for a well fought game that looked like whoever scored first would win. DHWFC were edging it for most of the game and went into halftime with a 1 goal lead from a free kick that caught the goalie off guard.
It looked like they were going to secure a win but good lobbed free kick in the second half caught the home teams goalie off her line and the game ended 1-1

A stark difference in weather to previous games, cold and some drizzle, not many chances, 1 red card, 1 rescinded red card (first for me to witness) didn’t improve the nil nil result and an ambulance from one of the Peckham players.
I hope it’s not too serious.

All the goals came in the 1st half, which they had to play in a borrowed white kit due to theirs turning up late, in case you’re wondering if these photos were from two different games.
2nd half a bit better but they hardly troubled the home goalie.
12th September 2020 saw Peckham Town win their first league game of the season.

Season opener ended 0-0 where both teams had only a handful of chances with the Borden Village’s goalie making a good near the end of the match.

1st March 2020 headliner Lou Sanders (TaskMasters, QI, 8 Out of 10 Cats), and South London comedy legend Arthur Smith to our stage, along with the hilarious Dan Antopolski, the incomparable Lynn Ruth Miller, Christy Coysh, Jamie Finn and brilliant resident MC Alexandra Harrow.
Like every good comedy club, the lighting is dark which is challenging to get a good photo.

Final score 2-9 (nine) in a game that could have had more goals if it weren’t for some good saves and goal line clearances from Tooting Bec players.

It was a close game, @PeckhamTownFC had a player sent off with about 10 mins to go. Both them and @FHPFC had chances throughout the game to score but Marcus Black got the only goal which sees them through to the final of the @LondonFA Senior Trophy.
